Well, we are Professional Organisers remember?!

It is probably a little earlier than usual, but our 2011 Workshop schedule is already up on the Organised for Life website. We have had a change of format, with our most popular workshops being extended to full day sessions, with special guests as well!

If you are rural and are interested in us presenting a full-day workshop in your town let us know. The Toowoomba workshop was a huge success and we do have plans on travelling again sometime in 2011. We'd love to hear from you as a location and date hasn't yet been determined!

We had a fabulous group of participants at Saturday's Cut Those Paper Blues Workshop. Thank you to everyone for coming out and spending your election morning with us!

We looked at everything to do with paperwork, with participants having paperwork issues in both their home and work offices. Everyone went away with lots of content, stacks of ideas and labelled folders ready to get their processes up and running!

This is some of the feedback we received:

"This is the best way to start the massive job of decluttering. It gives the task a structural procedure on how to start." Avrell

"Robyn and Helen are organised, enthusiastic and fantastic!" Arthur

"A simple and practical approach to solving your home office clutter that reduces stress and achieves satisfaction." John

"I wanted some guidance about planning my office at home and after completing this workshop I feel confident and excited about the prospect." Emma

"Relaxed presentation, common sense information which inspires you to become more organised." Peter

Robyn and I have just spend an amazing weekend in Toowoomba! We went up to present a full-day version of the Organised for Life workshops where we focused on our four most popular topics- personal organisation, paperwork, kitchen and wardrobe and memorabilia. This is just some of the feedback we received!

It is amazing how many areas of your life this affects. Even using your favourite colours to motivate you. It is relevant to every age group; you are never too old.

Wonderful, practical ideas for living a happier and more fulfilled life.

Helpful to be with others who are going through the same issues and feeling supported by Helen and Robyn, not diminished.

Robyn and I were really excited to spend last Thursday in Toowoomba promoting our upcoming rural workshop. We met with Anthea from The Toowoomba Chronicle to discuss all sorts of things about organising, from what makes us want to buy or collect things to what our husbands think about being married to two Professional Organisers (let's just say they're not complaining!).

We did a photo shoot in an office space of a private home which shows some great organising strategies. If you get a chance to see the paper you will notice a label maker has been put to good use in the office!!

The Toowoomba workshop is on Saturday 24th July so make sure you register (if you live locally) or let your friends from the area know that we'll be in town. We have fabulous tips and tricks to share with participants that we know will get them on the track to organising harmony in their home!

Looking forward to seeing you at a workshop soon!

The 'All that Jazz - Organising your memorabilia, children's artwork and family treasures' workshop was on yesterday. We had a lovely group of ladies attend who were all facing the same memorabilia challenges - how to deal with children's artwork and school work and the biggest challenge of all - photos! We shared lots of information around memorabilia, what it actually is, the difference between a hoarder, collector and clutterer as well as showing lots of great ways to sort and store your memorabilia.

Some of the feedback included:

"Great workshop to be reminded that I am a clutterer and I can sort it out!"

"Great course, not too long, lots of ideas and good to have someone to ask questions of about these common problems."

"I enjoyed the casual and friendly presentation."

Our next workshop is on August 21st and the topic is 'Cut those paper blues - Organising your paperwork and home office'. If this is a challenge you face contact us now and get registered!

Looking forward to seeing you at a workshop soon!
